Member of the Month None	The setting of Naruto Underground takes place 200 years after the current original story line of Naruto. After another Great Shinobi War that included the former members of Akatsuki, many great ninja perished and left behind their children to continue their legacy. Peace has swept back across the Shinobi World, and in this moment of peace, the Akatsuki Organization of old has risen once again. During the Great Shinobi War, Naruto Uzumaki, the Sixth Hokage, destroyed the Great Hell Statue holding the Bijuu within it, stopping Akatsuki before his death from attaining ultimate power. The Demons scattered across the land, including the Kyuubi who managed to escape Naruto's ultimate demise, and are now roaming free once more. Though they have not been active, they can be seen outside of Nations from time to time.	Current Kage Listing Hokage: Sukisu D. Mizukage (Unknown) Raikage: Saiha T. It's come time again to give everyone an update about what's going on with the site. There are a few things that have been happening that you may or may not have noticed in the past month or so that we've been trying to work on and improve over time. There have also been a few changes to rules, and other such things. Here are a few things that have been changed or been added to the site, realize that this might not include everything :

Uchiha have been taken off of the open applications list. This means that no more Uchiha characters can be applied for until further notice, that includes Genin level Uchiha.
The January Activity Check was put up and is still open until January 20th/21st, don't miss it, especially if you missed the last one.
Akatsuki is almost filled, and it has been decided that the final member WILL be looked for. We need one more member, if you want to apply, do it fast.
With Akatsuki filled, we can begin the 'Evil' Plot, which in turn will start off the other Plots, be ready to see some progress, but realize that anything you read in the Akatsuki Plot DOES NOT mean your character suddenly knows about it. The reformation of Akatsuki is still unknown to the Shinobi World, and their motives will remain a secret until someone divulges them to the public.
A Further Rules and Information thread was posted with detailed lists of rules that may not have been clear when the site was first started up. As people ask more questions and need more clarifications on rules and such, more will be added to the list.
Plot Information was given out this last month, and a Plot Question was answered during this month, don't forget to check those out, but realize that it is Out of Character knowledge, not In Character.

Those are just some of the things that have already come about and been modified. Things we are looking forward to in the future are :

Finally beginning the Member of the Month award.
Starting the 'Evil' Plot as well as the other Plots following it.
Advertising a little more to gain new members and fill positions we need filled, such as the last of the Kage positions, and perhaps a few Jinchurriki characters.
Adding additions that you, the members, have suggested to us in our Next Addition threads.

With that said, keep up the posting everyone and keep up the activity, our site is growing fast, much more so than previously anticipated, which is great! We have a great community so far, so let's keep expanding. Have fun Role-Playing everyone, and look out for the upcoming plot!

We are currently in need of active members to fill the roles of high ranking positions. (This includes Kages). Do not apply for a high ranking position if you don't believe you will be active and responsible with the power that comes with it!
